MicroSky is a planetarium for mobile/cell phones with Java support and a connection to the Internet (preferably GPRS or UMTS). It is a J2ME-Midlet client/server application which can display 2,500,000 stars, 8,000 deep-space objects, the constellations, the planets, the local horizon, and registered comets. With various functions and settings, such as observer location, zoom, and eyepiece, you can adjust the view of the night sky to your individual needs. The GPRS connection to the server enables this powerful midlet to be so small and run on low-profile devices.
